El nivel Principiantes Avanzados está dirigido a las personas que desean reforzar su aprendizaje del idioma inglés con una base sólida. Este nivel está dividido en tres fases, C, D y E, en las que se trabajan objetivos específicos que le permitirán aumentar su vocabulario y le dará más expresiones que se utilizan en situaciones diarias lo que le permitirá escuchar con mayor comprensión y expresarse sobre más temas, de manera adecuada en forma oral en inglés. Además aprenderá la función de algunas otras palabras que son usadas de manera diferente en español para que pueda leer con comprensión y escribir correctamente en inglés.

2Level 1C. Objective 1 – The Family
Your objective is to talk about the family. The activities include memorize the vocabulary about the family members. Practice and adapt the dialogue. Listen to the words and dialogue. Read and repeat paying attention to spelling and pronunciation. Act out the dialogue using your personal information.

Objective 2 – The English Noun, GenderThe objective now is to talk using words according to their gender (gender significa que las palabras pueden ser: masculinas, femeninas y, algunas, incluso indefinidas). Paying attention to spelling and pronunciation, listen, read and practice the dialogue and the vocabulary in the charts.

6Level 1C. Objective 3 – The English Noun, NumberYour objective of today is to talk using words according to their number: Singular or Plural. Paying attention to spelling and pronunciation, listen, read and repeat the vocabulary and practice the dialogue. Next do the exercises carefully and learn the rules for singular and plural. Memorize the irregular words.

8Level 1C. Objective 4 – Quantifiers of Plural NounsTodo el tiempo usamos palabras de manera apropiada y sabemos si son masculinas, femeninas, indefinidas, singulares o plurales. De igual manera, debemos usar palabras apropiadas que nos indiquen cantidades específicas (números, frases como: tasas de, vasos de, trozos de, etc.) o cantidades no específicas (mucho, muchos, poco, pocos, bastante, bastantes, algo, etc.) Estas palabras se llaman QUANTIFIERS. The objective of today is to talk about quantities using the quantifiers for the PLURAL words correctly.

10Level 1C. Objective 5 – Non Countable NounsPreviously we studied the plural words and their quantifiers. Words that have singular and plural are called “Countable nouns” (palabras que podemos contar por unidades: 1, 2, 3, etc.). There are other words that are called “Non-countable nouns”, they don´t have plural and can´t be counted by units for this reason they are MEASURED (se les mide). Practice the dialogue with attention to understand the concepts. Your objective is to memorize non-countable nouns to talk about quantities.

13Level 1C. Objective 6 – Quantifiers of Non Countable Nouns
Let´s continue with your objective to talk about quantities but now using non-countable nouns and their QUANTIFIERS. Paying attention to spelling and pronunciation, listen, read and repeat the vocabulary for specific and non-specific quantifiers. Remember specific is clear, for example: two glasses of water, a piece of bread. Non- specific is subjective: a little, a lot of, etc.

Previously we studied the nouns, the names of persons, animals and things around us. Nunca aprenderemos todos esos nombres pero es importante que hagamos el esfuerzo por memorizer los más que podamos. We studied the quantifiers too. It´s important to use the quantifiers correctly. Hemos aprendido otras palabras con diferentes funciones, entre ellas las preposiciones que forman frases para indicar lugar, tiempo y dirección. Do you remember when we studied IN, ON, AT? Well, your objective today is to memorize more prepositions to talk about place and movement.

17Level 1C. Objective 9 – Topics of conversationThis objective is to give you the practice needed to talk about different situations with fluency: ON THE PHONE, GETTING HELP, TRANSPORTATION. AT THE RESTAURANT and QUANTITIES. Listen and repeat the expressions and dialogues. Pay attention to spelling and pronunciation. Do the dialogues as many times as you need in order to master the vocabulary and structures.

Objective 10 – Read and thinkThis is the end of workshop 3 and you have different objectives using Reading material: the first is to get more vocabulary, the second is to learn about the differences and similarities of our culture and the culture of the English speaking people. More important is the objective to obtain material to speak in English.
